Well the actual name came from one of my all time favourite book series, the Stormlight Archive, written by Brandon Sanderson. <\/p>

If you haven\u2019t already, check out the first book The Way Of Kings<\/u><\/a>. If you like reading the fantasy genre, then this is one of the finest versions of it.<\/p>

Anyway, Journey Before Destination is a phrase from the first ideal for all orders of Knights Radiant (this will make more sense having read the book).<\/p>

\u201cLife before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

From that point, the phrase just stuck. It was all about how you live rather than your accomplishments that mattered and it had a big effect on me. So much so that when I was getting creative around starting a clothing brand, that phrase just came to mind.<\/p>

The brand isn\u2019t meant as a homage to that book series, but I loved the meaning of that phrase and how we could all embrace the simple aspect of how we live! Now I see this in everything, and that is now what inspires the different JBD designs.<\/p>
